Who is this course for?

This course is ideal for students of any discipline such as architecture, Business or computer technology. We do not teach the subject, we teach the academic skills which are:

- Listening to a lecture

- Extracting the main meaning

- Writing effective notes & summarising

- Giving a presentation

What skills are covered in this course?

We mainly focus on the basic 4 skills; Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking with different tasks. During this course, students will learn:

- Study skills

- How to use a dictionary

- Critical thinking skills

- Analysing

- Synthesising

- Evaluating

- Criticising

Materials
All materials are provided by the online language learners enrolled in House of Britain. When necessary, House of Britain will give the necessary support for the materials.

Certifications
At the end of the course, our tutors write a report about your progress, performance and absenteeism. Wherever necessary, this report and the end-of-course certificate will be useful for your future educational purposes before you go into any academic study.
