Our lessons are on:
In Pronunciation Skills, we aim at improving your Speaking and Listening skills. As a model, our tutors teach you only the accent spoken in the South of England. During the course, you will become familiar with pronunciation features on the radio, TV or natural conversations, mainly by focusing on the phonemic chart, word stress and intonation, pronouncing English words clearly and intelligibly and so on.
In Grammar & Writing Skills, we aim at refreshing your grammar knowledge in English. During the course, you will learn to improve your essay or report writing. This will be useful in official English exams.
In Conversational Skills, we aim at improving your accuracy and fluency in spoken English. During the course, you will learn how to:
- Introduce and express yourself,
- Response naturally and politely,
- Build relationships in social life,
- Agree and disagree with discussion techniques.
You will also have an opportunity to have a discussion on a range of interesting topics actively in groups.
In Vocabulary skills, we aim at helping you learn not only the meanings of words but also how you will use them. With different techniques of learning vocabulary, we help you expand your vocabulary and speak with confidence. Based on your language level, our tutors will support you and recommend a book and/or novel to increase your vocabulary.
In this course, our tutors teach how to speak in a more natural and accurate way in English. For example, the learners of English usually mix up with these expressions:
- To make a mistake or do a mistake?
- To pass 2 days in London or spend 2 days in London?
- To criticise a book or film or review a book or film?
- World wide food/cuisine or international food/cuisine?
You will make a very good impression with your English on people and even on examiners in the official exams. Enjoy speaking natural English every moment!
Idioms are groups of words and it can be hard to guess their meanings. They might be different in the learner’s mother tongue as well. Most English learners find them fascinating to learn. For example;
- Let the cat out of the bag
- Have a memory like an elephant
- Out of the frying pan into the fire
- Pull somebody’s leg
- Call it a day
Phrasal Verbs
Phrasal verbs are parts of daily life while listening or reading in English. These phrases have a verb and preposition or an adverb or sometimes both. Their meanings are different from the meaning of the words. Our tutors help you learn and use the most common ones in spoken and written English. For example;
- Pop in/over
- Ask somebody out
- Invite somebody round
- Show off
- Think ahead
Depending on your language level, not only does this course offer you a chance to expand your active and passive vocabulary, but also this course offers you a chance to brush up on your English.
